What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy is the use of nutritional science in to promote the health, peak performance and wellbeing of the individual.
At Nourish - Nutritional Therapy I use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances, working with the individual to understand how these may contribute to their symptoms and health concerns.
This approach allows me at Nourish - Nutritional Therapy to work with individuals to address nutritional imbalances and help support the body towards maintaining health. This is recognised as a functional medicine approach.
Nutritional Therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine.
Nutritional Therapy supports people looking to enhance their health and wellbeing from elite athletes to individuals living with chronic conditions.
At Nourish - Nutritional Therapy I celebrate the fact that every individual is unique. My recommendations are personalised and based on scientific research. All nutrition and lifestyle programmes are tailored towards the individual rather than adopting a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
Nourish - Nutritional Therapy will never recommend Nutritional Therapy as a replacement for medical advice. Any client with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms will always be referred back to their medical professional. Nourish - Nutritional Therapy will work alongside a medical professional and will communicate with other healthcare professionals involved in the client’s care to explain any nutritional therapy programme that has been provided.
